Vision Statement
Where life comes together celebrating God’s life and love: We are a unique team of Christian neighbors who love God and serve others so that lives are changed for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Mission Statement
Individually and together, we fulfill the Great Commandment (Luke 10:25-37) & the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20) by living and proclaiming the gospel in word and action through the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit through worship, study, service and fellowship as part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
BeliefsWe believe
• that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and is our Messiah, Savior and Lord, • that the Bible, especially the New Testament, is our guide for faith and life, and • that our commitment is to live our faith, not just talk about it. BaptismWe practice baptism by immersion, upon confession of faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Although the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination recognizes all forms of baptism.

The Lord's SupperAt the table of the Lord, we celebrate with thanksgiving the saving acts and presence of Christ" -- From the Preamble of the Design for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Sharing in the Lord's Supper is at the heart of what members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) do when they gather for worship. Generally each week there will be the singing of hymns, prayers, the reading of scripture, and a sermon. But without the Lord's Supper (or communion, as it is often called), worship would be incomplete. A marked characteristic of Disciples is an emphasis upon the importance of the Lord's Supper as a basic part of weekly worship. All believers are welcome at the table. |
